AB3D-KITThe school implements our concept for their regular school schedule. We provide training needed by teachers and all the support needed to allow students to take full advantage of the program. One AB3D kit can accommodate up to 20 students in the classroom.Our program is a combination of four modern pedagogical methods, which are: STEM, education of the 21st century, focused on children and based on projects.
1Manual for teachersThe teacher manual includes 50 class lessons. Each lesson includes the learning objectives, materials, teaching aids, and expected outcomes.

4How-to-design manualEvery group of 4 or 5 gets one manual that teaches them how to design their first 3d toy. The students work in a group to finish their designing process and that helps them develop their project planning ability.

The ApplicationAB3DBasic is not just a 3D design software, it's also a learning tool for those who don't quite understand three dimensionality. By sketching on the three faces of a cube, or using the front/side/top view modeling, users can learn how 3D objects are created out of 2D shapes.
AB3DBasic is AB3DLab’s simplest design software that targets beginners in the 3D printing world, who have minimal to no design experience at all. It is an introductory app that familiarizes users with the concept of 2D to 3D transformation, before they can upgrade to the more sophisticated softwares; AB3DXtd, AB3DFull, AB3DPro.
AB3DBasic introduces users to a new 3D modeling concept that relies less on manipulation of objects in 3D space, and more on 2D view integration. This concept allows users to change the way they perceive 3D design, and take on projects with a different mindset.
AB3DBasic is also a learning tool for those who don’t quite understand three dimensionality; with its “Cube View” it eases the 3D learning process. Draw sketches on the face of a cube and watch them transform into a 3D model with the click of a button. It offers them a quick and precise way to create 3D models. With the simple interface, it takes less than 5 minutes to learn how to use the program, as well as supporting cross-platform integration (generates .STL and .OBJ formats which are compatible with other CAD solutions).
The Kit-boxThe kit-box is a powerful manipulative for students to use in developing and maintaining mathematics, science, engineering, and technology concepts, in boosting creativity, imagination, artistic and motor skills, in addition to team work ability, design and project planning, as well as reverse engineering, fine-finishing and quality concepts.
In chapter 2 and 3, students will build 2D and 3D shapes. They will learn their properties with the aid of clay and wooden sticks. They will also build more complex shapes using the magnet toy set of 100 steel balls and 100 magnet sticks.
In Chapter 4, students will discover more about 3D shapes, their 2D projections, and learn to build complex shapes.
In chapter 6, students will learn team building rules and ethics. The cotton rope activities are designed to increase the student's teamwork spirit.
In Chapter 7, students will dis-assemble the train and learn how to redesign it with their 3D design tool, AB3Dbasic. Students will then print their 3D train and be able to take it home.
In chapter 7, students will paint and finish the train they designed and printed.
